The Dongnae Station is a station on subway line #1, in Dongnae-gu, Pusan, South Korea. Currently, there are private retail shops and small residential buildings located in around Dongnae Station area. This project intends to new commercial building, including retail stores, restaurants, and offices in given area with easy connection to shopping stores from subway station platform.

The long facade will be made as a framed glass wall with mesh style metal elements.

Basis: According to the request of Mongolian Gold Company (”MAC” Co., Ltd) the drawings of the hotel which is the main building of the tourist camp in Umnugobi aimag was made by “A-SIRIUS” studio.

Idea: The climate of the place offered by the customer is dry and located in the hot Gobi region so it was necessary to add to the plan of the construction the model of “Bayan Burd” lake in order to balance the conditions of that region. That’s why the model of a ship was reflected to the building. The white ship in hot summer sun, stuffy air and fawn colored sands, which is situated in a comfortable condition, will be seemed to be as a mirage.

Architectural planning: The fundament of the building is 1000m2 squares. The hotel building was planned with the parking place, rest square, artificial lake, industrial area, and roads. And according to the order of the customer the hotel and office area were separated and the building has two entrances. Further, the size offered by customer also planned to be built with two floors and the roof square planned to be with a swimming pool. And it was planned that we will use the reinforced concrete technology which is nowadays so commonly used in field of the construction in Mongolia with the glass design.

Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia is a new and growing city. During last years, there were some of big project competitions and The International Business Center prospect was one of them. It is located in south west side of the Sukhbaatar square - Central Square of city. Building contains 26 stories high two towers and 18 stories high main building. There are bank, office area, exhibition and meeting halls, restaurants, sky lounge, and parking area etc. Site neighbor buildings character reflects a rhythm of tall columns, so we used 6 stories high columns in the design of south side elevation. Also there are some detail conceptions for make a landmark tower of the UB city.

Now, there is another office building already built in the site.
